Our Equip Classes for the Spring semester, which runs from January 5 through May 31.


SUNDAY MORNINGS


Classes begin at 9:15 a.m.


LEGACY CLASS

Location: Legacy Room

Teachers: David Brauchler Jr., David Brauchler III, Charlotte Campbell, Dean Campbell, Dan Dooley.

The core of this group is ALC’s Primetimers, but the class also draws non-Primetimers who enjoy discussing living out the Christian walk on a daily basis with those who are more experienced in faith.


LIFE APPLICATION CLASS

Location: B201

Teacher: Gary Fansler

Bible studies and discussions are geared toward practical ways of living out our Christian beliefs. 


YOUNG FAMILIES

Location: C205

Teachers: Pastor David and Sally Thomas

This class focuses on marriage in the spring and parenting in the fall. This spring, our emphasis is on how a husband and wife can identify and meet each other’s emotional needs.


WEEKDAYS


LADIES BIBLE STUDIES: TRUSTWORTHY

A six-week study of the book Trustworthy by Lysa TerKeurst, which explores the ways in which 1 and 2 Kings teach us how to truly trust God. 

Wednesday nights

Time/Dates: 6:30-8:00 p.m., beginning Wednesday, February 12 (no class March 4, for Night of Worship)

Thursday mornings

Time/Dates: 9:00-10:30 a.m., beginning Thursday, February 13

EQUIP U.

"CHRISTIANITY AND CULTURE"

Time/Dates: 5:00-6:30 p.m., January 5, 12, 19 and 26

Location: Worship Center

Teacher: Pastor Jason Kennedy

These seminars parallel our January sermon series, “Asking for a Friend.” They look at prevalent topics of discussion in our culture and how Christians can approach those discussions biblically, confidently and compassionately.

Note: Summer Equip U. will take place on Sunday mornings beginning June 7.
